Fr. Greg - Copy

Rev. Greg Rozborski

Fr. Greg was born in Rzeszow, Poland, the third child in a family of six children. As a youth, he was involved in a professional children’s theatre/dance group. In his parish he was a cantor and sang in the boys’ choir and the men’s Benedictine choir. As a young man, he entered the Michaelite novitiate, and then studied philosophy in the seminary in Krakow. He then transferred to St. Peter’s Seminary in London, Ontario.

Fr. Greg was ordained a priest on April 29, 2005, and celebrated his first Mass at Our Lady of Czestochowa in London. After ordination, Fr. Greg served as an Associate Pastor in several parishes in Canada. His ministerial focus was youth ministry — working with high school and college students. He enjoys helping young people grow in their faith. He also conducted parish missions and retreats.

In 2010 Fr. Greg came to the Archdiocese of Detroit. He served for two years at St. Joseph Parish in South Lyon. He again enjoyed working in a large parish, and especially ministering with the youth and young adults.

In July 2012, Fr. Greg arrived at Guardian Angels, to serve as an Associate Pastor.

He began his ministry as Pastoral Administrator at St. Pio Parish on July 1, 2014, and looks forward to “sharing my faith with you as you also share with me.”  Fr. Greg was appointed Pastor of St. Pio of Pieterelcina Parish effective July 1, 2015.
